Political Mission Statement:
United States Community Development is to
engage low income citizens in voter’s education and
driving Americans seniors to the polls locally and
nationally.
2. Targeted Demographic:
In 2005 there were an estimated 12,975
thousand seniors below the poverty level in Wake County.
In the city of Raleigh southeast communities
specifically seniors make up a large portion of low
income disenfranchised people. We target areas in small
groups of disabled seniors such as nursing, retirement
and assisted living facilities. USCD brings voter drive
education and bipartisan information to each resident

1.The effort is a continued cycle for citizens that are
less fortuned and who may not receive direct access to
register or may be elderly or disabled and cannot get
out to vote.

To bring policies and issues to low income citizens who
do not understand the process or have access to each
candidate policy that relate to them such as housing,
health education, environment and economic class.
We will continue to bring
issues and concerns for seniors during and out of local
and national elections.
